I think the thing you'll run into with other admins is "what happens when I
do an upgrade" in sipxecs. More expsoure to the app will dictate that it
probably run not on apache but on tomcat, which is not php, so it can be
brought under sipxecs. With that in mind, as long as your virtual server in
sipxecs is name based and backed up in as far as the config, it shouldn;t be
hard to re-establish after an upgrade.

So longer term thinking would be to have it adoped to be managed by sipxecs
(perhaps replace the current click2dial) or augment is an an optional rpm.
Alternatively a separate appliance is a great idea, because it can be
wrapped up for others to download and implement in minutes.

Ideally, this would be a portlet (or gadget) that can be used in sipx, but
there's more frame-work to do to make this possible.
