I’m trying to see if something we would like to do is possible. The case: I have one HA SipXecs setup on network 1. I have multiple networks with phones in them, let’s say network 2 and 3. I don’t use call admission control YET, but I want to control my data due to a possible bandwidth shortage. When phones from network 2 dial locally to phones from network 2 I would like them to use codec G711. But when phones from network 2 dial phones from network 3 I would like them to use the more compressed codec G729. My question: Is something like this possible? And if yes how do I configure this?
