I have download the latest version in braches\sipxtapi committed-rev="7498", and I have the same error:
When I run tha PlaceCall or SipXezPhone, the errors occurs: ""The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000005)".

why you picked 7417, it appears that that particular revision is
associated with a commit on the main branch:

sipXtapi is an excellent choice for building a conference server. I'm
you could even squeeze more than 4 connections out of it.
I think it would be great to add a simple conference server to our
collection of sipXtapi applications / examples.
