Hello,

I'm not able to produce the problem at my end. I tried all different vocoders
and it works ok.

There is however a problem where sipxCallDestroy returns failure and you are
not able to end a reject a call while it's in ringing state. I will try to fix
it later.

Thanks.

Regards,
Hitesh

  Hi, Hitesh:
  Thank you for your information.
The audio crash I mean here is that crashing sound in audio. I have tried in
following modes in our LAN.
  (1) sipXezphone to sipXezphone
  (2) MyDelphiPhone to MyDelphiPhone
  (3) sipXezphone to SJPhone
  (4) CrossTalk to CrossTalk
  (5) CrossTalk to sipXezphone
  (6) CrossTalk to SJPhone

Audio crash will occur in all of above tests. I don't know if you've found
the issue in your environment.
I will try wxcommunicator you recommanded.

  Thank you very much.

  Best Regards,
  Feng XueSong

    Hi,

    Thanks for your kind remarks.

What do you mean by audio crash? Do you mean crashing sound in audio or the
application crashes? For the latter you may try with some other vocoder.

Yeah, at times call coudn't be canceled. I will try and see if I can fix it.

Conference may give problems, Jaroslav has made some patches for it (don't
know if they have been merged with the sipXtapi main branch), you may apply
them and then try.

sipXtapi doesn't have video support at this moment of time.

There is another very good softphone based on sipXtapi -
http://sourceforge.net/projects/wxcommunicator. You may try that as well.

    Thanks.

    Best Regards,
    Hitesh

      Hi Mr.Hitesh:
I have tested your phone. GUI is beautiful. But there are sill some
issues existing which I have ever met in my phone (developed by Delphi). I will
list them as follows (Sorry for not giving you some good advice required by
your mail):

      (1) The most important issue I think is that audio crash exists. I used
SJPhone as another peer, at the second time when CrossTalk connecting to
SJPhone, audio crash occured at SJPhone side. If using CrossTalk to CrossTalk
mode, the audio crash would occur as well.
Please refer to my issue published on 2007-6-12, TITLE:[sipxtapi-dev]
About crash of sipXezphone (sipXtapi)

      (2) If using CrossTalk as callee, CrossTalk could not cancel the call
when ringing. It is because that sipXtapi doesnot provide this function. I hope
someone could improve this function. I am trying but need some time.

      (3) I didnot test conference function. Have you ever tested it? I think
it need a conference server.
      (4) I didnot find video service. Are you going to provide it in near
future?

Thank you very much for your work. I'd like to exchange idears with you.

        Hello,

Here is a softphone I did as my college project -
http://sourceforge.net/projects/crosstalk/. It's a MFC project and the build
environment is VC++ 7.1.

Please pardon me for my poor coding styles and habits. I will be very
happy if someone finds it useful.

        Thanks.

        Best Regards,
        Hitesh
