Hi,

I have a question about how sockets are managed in sipXtapi. When the
application receives packets from the net, where is the first place they are
received?

As far as i understood, "get1VideoMsg" sends the udp packet through the
"pushPacket" method to the first resource MprFromNet. And then this resource
processes the RTP packet, and so on...
I am developing video transmission in sipXezPhone, in an analogous way as it
has been done for audio. I have almost all the application running, but i am
havin a problem with sockets management.

My problem is that the application is not receiving packets correctly from
the network, because some packets are discarded. Packets are received, but i
think it is a problem of how sockets are processed that makes some packets to
be discarded. Maybe it is a buffer that is not large enough, or maybe it is the
rate at which sockets are listening...
This happens only with video data. The thing is that video packets are much
large than audio packets, and they are sent at a larger rate.

Does anyone know how can i solve this problem?

I hope this could be finished in the following weeks and then i would send it
to you.

  Thanks in advance,
  Mariana.
