Well, if you'll grab latest sipXtapi-media-update, you'll find video almost
working under Windows. And the problem with sockets is solved in it. ;)
I spent much time last year (and beginning of this year), bringing up
video support to sipXtapi. And while it is not yet production-ready, it may
be a good point to start with, instead of reimplementing all things from
scratch. I've put much time on design and architecture of video subsystem,
however not finished its implementation. And my design also based on
resources anf flowgraphs, such as audio layer do. If you want to work on
video support, I'll be glad to help you bringing up latest sipXtapi-media-update
branch to fully working state. And I believe that people from community
will be glad to help you testing it.
