It may be caused by several reasons. Most likely by your harware configuration,
that is you're trying to use speakers and omnidirectional microphone. To test
this just try to use headset and play with speaker/mic volumes. Other
possible reason is incorrect recording source in Windows Mixer - if you
select "Stereo Mix" it will record sound being played out, not just sound from
microphone. There may be a couple of other reasons, include bugs, but
these reasons are most likely.
