Does anyone out there use ssh on an x86_64 autoinstall boot image?
Whenever I try to invoke ssh or ssh-keygen from the busybox shell, I get
the infamous "You don't exist, go away!" error:
# ./ssh-keygen
You don't exist, go away!
This happens on x86_64 using the 3.6.3 RPMs from systemimager.org, and
also on a 3.7.x trunk build. It looks like busybox's getpwuid() is
returning null, even though getuid() correctly returns 0, and root has
an entry in /etc/passwd. Has anyone run into this? If not, I'll dig
around a little more and see what's up.
This is a standard, unmodified boot CD (si_mkautoinstallcd --flavor
standard). It works fine on the i386 boot CD; it only breaks on x86_64.
Thanks,
Josh
