Hearing no response, I looked into the ssh-keygen problem on x86_64. A
strace showed that it's failing on a getpwuid() call, which in turn
fails to locate /lib64/libnss_files.so.2. Copying a working library from
a running x86_64 system fixed the problem on my system.
It may just be a matter of adding the 64-bit library to boel_binaries,
but I don't know enough about the linker/loader to fix this myself. I've
filed bug request 1523803 with more details.
