Hello,

I'm *trying* to use systemimager 3.7.5:

systemimager-x86_64boot-standard-3.7.5-1
systemimager-common-3.7.5-1
systemimager-server-3.7.5-1

My image is from a Centos 4.3 server with a 2.6.9-34ELsmp kernel and I'm
actually using it to reinstall the server the image was generated on. I'm
booting across the network and this goes fine and it picks up the correct
IP.

Systemimager fails when running parted as it cant stat /dev/sda. I have
all the correct drivers loaded as I can see them with lsmod. I know this
device should exist as I'm installing the server I created the image on.

When I look at /dev I see there are only a few entries, there are many
things missing. NOTE these are not missing from the image on the image
server - i have not got as far as bringing this across. I have put my own
kernel and initrd.img into the /tftpboot directory.

Something is going screwy with the creating of /dev - but I can see in the
install sequence that it finds the SCSI devices - it just does not make
/dev properly.

any ideas? Oh this is on DL 145 with SCSI drives.

many thanks,

jason.
