I had same problem and i did like this:
copy /etc/modprobe.conf to /var/lib/systemimager/images/<image_name>/etc/
and try to redeploy nodes again , it worked for me , hope works for u too.
it will be work if ur head node and compute nodes have same hardware , and
if not , i offer u to first install centos on one of ur compute node and
make a copy of modeprobe.conf of that node and overwrite that with image
one. then try to redeploy again.
