When I first downloaded Skim it was because I read somewhere that it was the
only PDF app that could be set to automatically open documents zoomed in
rather than at 100%. That¹s the only reason I wanted to replace Preview
because I was sick of having to zoom in every time I opened a PDF (I have an
Intel 20² iMac, so the screen is pretty big). I subsequent versions this
feature seems to have disappeared. I have futzed with the preferences, but
I cannot find a way to automatically open documents zoomed in to, say, 135%
so I can read the text without having to manually zoom in. Am I missing
something?
