That's bad, and strange. Are you sure it's when you rotate left (I can
hardly imagine), or would it be: every second time you try to print
(that I could imagine, and could also explain why you don't see the
Auto-rotate button).

I've opened and rotated 7 pdfs of different sorts (using Tools\Rotate left or right) and had only one crash this time, and contrary to what I said before, this time it was on a right rotate. This is not an issue for me - I was simply attempting to test for you - but maybe something to keep an eye on if someone else reports the same.

Well, any crash is one too many. So did the crash report when you tried to print? Please provide a crash report (you can find it in Console.app). You can attach it to a bug report in the bug tracker.

No, I really meant a check button that says "Automatically rotate each
page". Though auto-rotation would only have effect for rotated pages.
For us Tiger users, would you mind saying where this 'Automatically rotate' button should be? Should I be looking in the main Skim window, somewhere along the normal tool bar?

Michael

In the print panel. I've attached a screenshot from the print panel on Leopard. If it's not there, on Tiger it is also available in the Page Setup panel after choosing Skim from the popup.
