I see. Would you mind sharing your knowledge about why it cannot be
reasonably done? And what precisely were the problems caused by switching
apps before version 1.2.2? I have never experienced any problem at all with
skim and app switching myself...
For the moment I will just try to compile a pre-1.2.2 version and use that
instead of the last version. I really cannot use Skim in its present state
for my teaching.
