Agreed. There are still quite a few naysayers. This is typical human nature
-- people just don't like disruptive change to the status quo (and last I
checked quite a few developers were all human). There are those of course
who will embrace change. The iPad is a game changer, zero doubt about it.
I've also noticed some people within, particularly, academia (and I won't
name which people or places) who think the iPad is kind of a gimmick or
possibly a passing fad. Wrong! It reminds me of a professor of Computer
Science at a university years ago (1980s) in the U.S Midwest who said then
that the PC was a passing fad. Oops, not a passing fad at all. It seems
Steve Jobs i once again at the center of disrupting the status quo!
