Hi,
although I have turned "remember last viewed page" off it happened
again.
I opened a pdf-file with SKIM and I got the last page (=8) of the
document as a gray page with no text.
Then I opened the same pdf file with Acrobat Reader: it is OK.
After that: opening with SKIM it is also OK.
