I've noticed the following behavior:

With both my Normal and Full Screen views settings set to single space 
continuous and saved that way as default (another options that I think is not 
as important is "zoom to fit"), then the PDF gets scrolled upwards several 
pages each time I enter Full Screen (using CMD+SHFT+F). The number of pages 
seems to vary, but it is significant (we aren't talking about a minor half a 
page that I may expect due to the continuous scrolling position), like more 
than 3 pages frequently. Indeed, if I toggle in and out of full screen starting 
from the last page of a 20 page PDF I can get to the first page in 3-4 
repetitions.
