I don't see this myself. Though the zoom factor you use is significant. For 
instance, I see quite a bit of scrolling when I use a very small zoom, 
something like half the number of pages that are shown each time. "zoom to fit" 
is not a view option, it's a one-time action (it zooms the PDF so that the 
current page fits precisely in the currently available view area, where 
"current" is what's the case when you call that action). Don't you mean 
"automatically resize" (which IS an option)? If not, what ARE the zoom levels 
you use? And how many pages are typically visible in the view?

BTW, this is really a problem of Apple's PDFKit (which is responsible for the 
actual display). They currently often even go back all the way to the first 
page when you change the display mode (this used to be correct in earlier OS 
versions), but we do work around that issue.

Anyway, for the next release I've added some code the work around this 
scrolling. It won't be perfect (that's something Apple must fix), but at least 
it will get it roughly right.
