Wow!  I think it works really well.  For me, it is intuitive and makes a 
big difference in being able to work easily with handwritten notes.

For those listening in to this thread, Christiaan just added a feature 
where holding down shift will automatically select and join everything 
you write.  So to make a handwritten note as one object that you can 
move or modify, just hold down shift and start writing.  Then you can 
simply move and modify what you've written (since it's already 
selected).  Just tap anywhere else to unselect and repeat with your next 
phrase.
