Hi, all,

This is something I've just seen recently, perhaps since installing 10.6.7: at
some point after a boot and after using Skim at least once, Skim appears to
stop working, in that it will no longer launch when I double-click/open either
doc or app, via Finder, or by using 'open' on the command-line.

Skim does not show up on the dock, in the CMD-TAB display, or in a 'ps', and
there don't seem to be any log entries related to this. It does, however, show
up in the "Force-Quit" list (CMD-OPTION-ESC). I assume this is looking at a
database of some sort, rather than looking at the kernel's list of running
processes [not showing up in a 'ps' list tells me that there is no "skim"
process hanging around, even in the late stages of shutdown/exit].

Anyone seen this? Have a clue of any sort?

I'm checking here before bugging Apple about this.

Thanks!

Justin
