I had the Skim version 1.1.12 on my Apple iBook G4, MAC OS X 10.4.11 even I
was not really using it.

Today I downloaded the version 1.2.7, the latest version, which is running
on a 10.4 system. I deleted the older Skim version.

After installing and rebooting the system the program opened without any
problems. I did some text marking on a PDF document and saved it as a PDF
bundle. After I closed the document I was not able to open it anymore
through double clicking on the file, it appears a message on the finder,
failure -10660. I only can open the document with drag and drop on the Skim
symbol.

I copied the old Skim version 1.1.2 back on my hard disk, but did not copy
it into the program folder. After double clicking on the same file Skim
1.1.12 gets started even though the newer Skim version 1.2.7 is still lying
in the program folder of my hard disk.

First I thought there was any problem with Skim 1.2.7 on my computer but the
same problem appears after I installed Skim 1.2.6

Probably there is still some start up information of Skim 1.1.12 left on my
hard disk.

How is it possible to solve this problem?

I would appreciate your help. Thanks!!
