I'm trying to save an annotated PDF in a compressed format that preserves
annotations. What I found is this:
Within Skim app itself (v1.3.18-69):
- File > Save Archive... (tgz) doesn't preserve annotations
- File > Save Disk Image... (dmg uncompressed) does preserve annotations
From Terminal:
- tar -czvf doc1.tar.gz doc1.pdf --- doesn't preserve annotations
- tar -cjvf doc1.tar.bz2 doc1.pdf --- doesn't preserve annotations
Can anyone confirm this?
