I would like to save my annotations as embedded notes within the PDF, so that I
can see them and continue to edit them on an iPad etc. I have a problem when
exporting text notes. In Skim's note preferences, I have these set to have a
zero opacity background and no border, so one just sees text and can read the
original text underneath the text note box. When these are converted to
embedded notes (via ctrl-cmd-S), they show up as intended when the document is
opened by Preview on the Mac, but not when viewed on iPad using Goodreader,
where the background is opaque (and coloured according to Skim's preferences)
and where there is also a border. I realise this could be Goodreader's
problem, and I'll pursue things there too, but I thought Skim users might have
some insight/suggestions. Many thanks in advance!
