Hello everybody,
I have the problem that Skim will not sync with Macvim.
Macvim compiles the latex just fine, and I am able to sync to Textmate just
fine. However no matter what I seem to do, sync between skim and macvim is
not possible.
I cannot remember everything I tried, but I have installed macvim manually,
through ports, earlier version but to no avail. As for Skim I have found
various Custom-sync settings, deleting preferences in ~/Users/preferences/
and reinstalling also to no avail.
mvim is in my path btw.
What happens in Skim when I set sync to the preset macvim and I
cmd+shift+click is absolutely nothing. If I use the textmate preset it opens
textmate and takes me to the place I want. The most frustrating part is that
a friend of mine has installed macvim manually and skim and everything just
worked however that is not the case for me, unfortunately.
Does anyone have an idea what I am doing wrong? Or what can possibly be done
in order to get it to work?
