Sorry, there is nothing we can do about that. Drawing of the PDF s done by 
Apple's PDFKit, which is basically a black box for us. I understand that 10.9 
does a lot of drawing optimization, but it seems to me (from various reports on 
drawing issues on 10.9) that they went much too far.
