I have absolutely no idea why that would happen for you. I have never seen that 
myself. It also makes no sense from the code. Usually Cmd-N creates a note 
somewhere around the mouse, when that makes sense. Otherwise on the middle of 
the current page. So i don't see how it would end up on a different page, 
especially on a page that's not shown.
