Dear Skim Users and Developers:
This may be a FAQ. I just started using and thus like the feature set of
Skim 1.4.9 (especially it's file monitoring, because I use pdflatex). It's
an impressive piece of software. However, I prefer the font rendering of
Preview. app on my retina iMac 5k display. I put a sample of the two at

I wonder whether there are tips to get Skim rendering closer to the Apple
rendering on very hires displays, and/or whether Skim's rendering is still
evolving.
