I just noticed that on some PDFs, search can be used to temporarily highlight matches pretty much like I want. Ditto with Preview (though Skim is nicer).
The problem only seems to be with the batch of PDFs I was focused on this morning. (They are all from one major science journal publisher). So, I guess this isn’t really a Skim issue. My apologies. Thanks for the prompt replies. > On May 29, 2020, at 3:02 PM, Paul Tratnyek <[email protected]> wrote: > > >> On May 29, 2020, at 2:26 PM, Christiaan Hofman <[email protected]> wrote: >> >> It seems to me that what you are looking for is the Search PDF feature, >> which could give you an overview where keywords appear. > > Almost, but the current version of “search" just summarizes the matches in > the Contents Panel, right?
