Only for completeness. If you setted up Skype not to start authomatically, but you deleted the desktop icon, you have to open it by the start menu, either going to Start / All programs / Skype submenu / Skype, or if you use it very often simply go to Start / Skype, because more often used programs are available in the start menu without any submenu. [Note that these procedures will work assuming you don't use an operating system lower then Windows XP (I sincerely don't know about Vista), and you didn't activate classical start menu.] Bye! Barbuz
