Hello, Doug, If you are asking if the controls for volume and microphone muting are shown in the conversation window while a call is in progress - yes, they are present there. There is a line where normally the "call" and "Call with video" buttons are shown. When a call is in progress, those buttons disappear and on their place are the following things: A "Close" (or something like that) button for terminating the call, a "mute microphone" button, button for decreasing volume, a volume slider, a button for increasing volume, a button for a pop-up menu with more commands (hold call, show dial pad, audio settings and video settings) and another button about sound quality and quality feedback. BTW: Some of those options are available via the Insert+F8 command, but most of them are not labeled correctly. The first option in that list muted the microphone for me, the "5" button terminated the call, another button had the emoticons selection pop-up appear (the one provided by Skype itself) and so on. I'm not sure if all commands from the Insert+F8 list work, because when I activated them - nothing happened. That is valid mostly for the "chat" related ones.
