I don't think it was off topic at all. Thre have been long and sometimes avoidable discussions on Jaws in the past. Unfortunately, even the moderator of the list has also sometimes posted to the list which could have been avoided, for instance answers to the questions which have already been answered or answers like, don't know about this. I am not cirticizing or anything, but the above facts makes one believe that it is not that strict a list. And suddenly we have a barrage of messages which can't be considered off topic by any stretch of imagination. Even if it was, isn't it better to receive one off topic message than receiving 1000 against it?
