I checked, and there was an update for JAWS, which I ran, and the annoying error message is gone. My computer never shut down of its own accord, it only gave me the error message after I had initiated shut-down, just after the Windows music. And, I am running XP, so you can add me to that tiny list. Now, I wonder about the file I installed? It was skypewatcher installer1.00.3rc.exe. A friend sent me another zipped folder, whose name is SWSetup. Is there a difference between the two, and if so, which should I be using. If I installed the wrong one, can I fix it?
