Hello I am as far as it can be from having any expertise with Skype but I found out by trial and error that if I am in the Contacts list all I have to do is to type the first few letters of a name and Skype provides me with a list of all contacts that contain that string of characters. For example; if I type, "Free" I Will get Freedom Scientific, Free Conference Call, Free-lance writer, etc. and I just arrow through the choices and hit Enter on the one I want and the call is made. I can also select if I want the list to show all contacts, Skype names only and so on. I am not sure what knowing the numbers will do. Could it be set up as a choice to check or uncheck? That way everyone could have it the way they want it.

I know you can't separate contacts from conversations and history, because it is a Skype problem. Is there any way of separating them with scripting? If there isn't, then they need to be asked for some relief.
