?I'm running Skype 5 with Skype Talking and Windows 7. I tried these
directions by switching to default view but, could not find the contact
request button. I also looked for it in the compact view with no success.
I also tried to look for something workable using the insert f8 key combo
which was mentioned in another message and have still had no luck. I may be
beyond help, smiles, but, if you can assist me I would appreciate it.

go to the skype contact list, keep hitting shift+tab you'll hear
cnotact requests, activate that button.
then you'll be in a list, just hit add to contacts. i dont think you
can see the name of the person there, so you'l need to add them. then
they will appear in conversations list (ctrl+1)

Hi all,
I just had a contact request but I don't know where it is hiding. In
Skype five, I don't see anything like notifications view, and Skype home
says no news and alert, but I don't know if it's the right place to look.
