I thought the problems with Skype 5.0 crashing on my machine were gone. I was wrong. I'm using 4.2. I wish I new the answer. I'm hopeful that someware along the way skype will figure it out. It is not my machine. I reformatted, because of other issues. Keep your fingers crossed! Thanks for posting to the skype english list.
