I forgot to address the name issue you're having: It is normal, in structured mode but not in line mode, to add the name of a list before the current item. To do otherwise would violate the normal behavior of JAWS with Braille displays. I'm therefore not sure what best to do with this one other than to suggest line mode. The reason this is an issue for Skype lists is that the list items end up being so long that they cause the display to move left/right sometimes. That's my understanding at least. Input welcome.
