I'm running skype 5.3 windows 7 64 byt.
Looks like skype developers will have to fix this one.

should be able to Shift+Tab to an edit box containing the error, or

I did not get this type of error when starting the new 5.3 Skype
today, but I think I read here that someone else did see it in that
version.
