Hi! I've just looked in the General options in Skype for Windows, and there is no option called "Press Enter to call a contact". However, I did find a checkbox with the words "When I double-click a contact start a call": this seems to be the option some of you are thinking of, because, after I checked this checkbox, I pressed Enter on "Echo Sound Test Service" in my contact list, and a Skype test call was immediately started. The mane of the checkbox which I quoted above is a little misleading, but, if you want to be able to press Enter to start a Skype call, that's the option in the general settings which has to be checked, as far as I can tell.
