Hey Jim,
I don't use JAWS cursor normally but I move with the Braille display which
is set to Line mode, and so I read in Braille the word Facebook before the
status message.
Another way could be to read the contact profile. If it's a Facebook
contact, the so-said Skype name would beginn with xmpp and end with
chat.facebook.com.
