My friend, I am afraid Apple works differently on this. You can turn off
automatic updates from the Itunes and AppStore settings, so it's valid
for all applications; I did it myself because I don't like my iPhone to
update automatically, I always want to see what I upgrade. I think in
order to downgrade you'll have to keep older version in your iTunes
library and then try to sync by connecting your iPhone to your pc.
There are some issues in new Skype for iOS, but I don't know for sure
they're only of accessibility; it looks like also some sighted people
are disappointed by this update, so that should mean anything! Smile...
