If I understand how it's been described before correctly using notecards as script storage in the way their currently implemented is impossible since each save creates a new asset. The previous statement being said having a flexible and non-volatile storage format is very necessary and should be LL's top priority when it comes to the scripting system and a high priority overall. We need a system that is fully read/write and one that can preferably be shared among multiple scripts in an object and/or linkset (with proper permisions controls of course) and scripting is severely hampred until this can be implemented.
