javax.security.auth.login.LoginException: unable to find LoginModule class:
org.apache.slide.jaas.spi.SlideLoginModule
My files are in :
%CATALINA_HOME%/conf/jaas.conf
all libraries in
%CATALINA_HOME%/webapps\slide\WEB-INF\lib

$CATALINA_HOME was not set early enough in the startup.sh (not sure
about startup.bat) and therefore the JAAS configuration file was not found.
if you search the archives for "JAAS problem 2.1b2" you will find the
thread, I sent some updated startup files.
