Da müsste auch mal jemand den Wiki-beitrag zum Thema "Album Artwork" aktualisieren. Da wird glaub ich davon ausgegangen, dass die Cover nur für die Webbrowser darstellung benutzt werden:
"The image files should be modest in size, as they are sized to fit on the HTML browser window.
