Dude... I think, having read the review a few times over the last few
weeks, that you have missed the point. The record does have a certain
degree of consistency based on the fact that this is the record that we
wanted to make. If there are differences in the styles shown that, in our
(perhaps simple) minds is a triumph. Fuck consistency. These are the
songs that we wrote and the way that we wanted to present them. If we are
going out on some limb... well that is what makes playing and writing in
a band satisfying, and fun. Don't place so much emphasis on the over all
"flavour" of a record and keep in mind that there are four people with
ideas and input. You seem more worried about the commercial and "cool"
aspect of this record than we are. Come and see us play, that is the only
"cool" aspect of the band, as far as I'm concerned. If you like us then
that's great. If not...
