Bonjour tout le monde, Okay, I know Chris and D'Arcy already posted about the show but I figure I can, too... I went w/ my friend Tammy, and Alex, who was once *again* wearing his sloannet tee (at least he's using it) and, as D'Arcy mentioned, we were surrounded by tons of cooler-than-thou teens... I felt so out of place b/c I didn't have dyed hair/body piercings/grungy hair/pumas and the like ;). Orange Glass were pretty impressive; the first song they played, which was also really short, was probably my favourite out of their set, but I don't know if it's on the 7" I bought or not... and around that time I'm pretty sure I spotted D'Arcy, whom I'd met really briefly at edgefest 3, but I'm stupid and shy and didn't feel like going and sounding dumb if it wasn't her (but I guess it was...). At one point after OG's set, as we were making our way over to see Chris, we were standing directly behind her but Alex (you wuss! ;) ) refused to introduce himself either b/c he didn't know her... ah well, next time. and Chris asked: >oh yah Shannan why didn't u want to participate in the sex game? Hey, what are you talking about? I played it. And I got 'lips'... 'in the bar'... now we all know that Chris is a perv who makes naughty fortune telling things... ;) Uh, yeah... back to the concert. ET rocked Lee's Palace and played lots of their heavier songs... they were a hell of a lot better than when I saw them at Another Roadside Attraction this summer (although I suppose that was to be expected... Markham Fairgrounds isn't exactly conducive to the ET sound). And I bought the "Road South" 7", too (I'm sure you were all dying to know that) and got sewing tips from Julie b/c I got an x-tra large ET shirt for my sister... too bad we don't have a sewing machine. Oh, and Chris: I went to the bathroom before the show started and it *reeked* of pot - would that've been your friend? on the lips and in the bar, Shanan
