Let me tell you a couple of my own predictions.
When the Linux wave really catches on, our editors
will be approached to be consultants advising on
linux deployment. The infrastructure is now up,
contributions will come through that infrastructure
automatically. In 2 years time, 60-70% of the
Ecommerce companies will fail, and in 2 years time,
it will be harder for startups to get venture
capital. In 2 years time, Linux/Open source will
create a wave somewhere else (which I will not name).
Let's see how many of those predictions come true. :)
