Hi all.
Don't often write these sorts of emails so bear with me. Just a wee note to
say hello and introduce myself.
I'm sure most of you will be happy to know I've recently settled here in
Sydney from New Zealand where I vainly carried the Linux flag around where I
worked.
I've been tinkering with Linux since the .99 days but I'm nowhere near an
expert. I'm still very much a tinkerer.
By trade, I'm a web designer specialising in DB driven stuff. I use PHP and
MySQL/Postgres. Some of you may have seen my articles on Hotwired's
WebMonkey. I'm also co-authoring a book on PHP at the mo with New Riders.
Anyway, it's nice to touch base with some fellow users and I'm sure I'll see
you at the next meeting and definitely at the Linux Expo! :)
Yeahm this is kinda disjointed but it's late and I'm not used to the heat
yet...
