It's a matter of personal preference. The latest Debian comes with a (great?) game on
it's own CD. I prefer and use SuSE at work, but have used Red Hat (including 6.1 -
which is on my home machine), Slackware (which I started on - except for my first copy
of Linux v 0.99) which I found easy to configure but got sick of paying $40 or more
each few
months to update.
Try them all. You'll soon find the Distro you are most comfortable with.
