Telstra internet - $20 a month, then 19 cents a meg for data {the first
100 meg is included in your $20}, plus setup fees. I thjink it goes down
to 12 cents a meg if you hit their proxy servers first for web stuff.

If you use it a lot, then you'd lose out. If you don't, you should be OK.
Depends how many hits your site gets.

How big do you plan your web site to be?

You can't determine this until you've got an idea of how much data you
want to move. Seeing as Australia is blighted by having to pay by the meg
for data, the more you move, the more you pay.

Web hosting costs me $30 a month. My dialup account another $40. For $70 a
month, I could get a bigpuddle direct connection and have, erm, about 370
meg of stuff downloaded/uploaded at 19 cents a meg, and roughly 583 at 12
cents a meg {if this applies}.

While my web page isn't that popular yet, it'll get more use as I expand
it - I also use my account for other stuff - so I'll be better off the way
I am. You might find things different.
