[SLUG] connexant internal modem

Hi,
Does anyone know if a connexant 56k internal modem works with Linux?
It's software driven. I've never setup an internal modem on Linux so I
don't know if I have to do any make devs for the port so any suggestions
on how to do this would be helpful.
